Lock snapping is a huge concern, so Kinetica+ combines several defensive mechanisms. A sacrificial cut ensures the cylinder snaps in front of the vulnerable cam area, and at the moment of failure, an anti-grip drive bar springs forward, and is stopped by dual attack rods that fire sideways. The rotating cam moves independantly, and stops when its outer defence ring hits the barrels. Dual attack rods limit the space attacker can work in, making it impossible to push the drive bar backwards to release the cam. The attacker will also fail to grab the drive bar, due to the bars tapered anti-grip ends. Leaving no way of manipulating or removing the cam. An innovative anti-tilt mechanism prevents the cam section from lowering when the cylinder is snapped, reducing further the space an attacker has to manipulate the mechanism. Following a snap attack, Kinetica+ leaves the lock protected on the outside, and operational on the inside. IMPORTANT SIZE INFORMATION: Kinetica+ cylinder size is represented with the external measurement first, and internal measurement second. Size should be measured from face of cylinder to centre of screw hole. If your cylinder measures 35mm from outside face to centre of screw hole, and 45mm from centre of screw hole to inside face (80mm overall), then you should order a 35/45 (80mm) cylinder.
