Macpherson Trade Vinyl Matt is a premium, low odour, trade-quality emulsion formulated for interior walls and ceilings, delivering a smooth, flat finish that enhances the look of any room. With excellent coverage and high opacity, it effectively conceals minor surface imperfections while providing a consistent, professional result. This low VOC, water-based emulsion is easy to apply by brush, roller, or spray — including airless application — and offers excellent flow and levelling properties for a seamless finish. It dries quickly, being touch dry in 1–2 hours and recoatable after 4 hours, helping to save time on larger projects. Once dry, it forms a matt, wipeable surface that’s ideal for everyday living spaces and light cleaning. Suitable for new plaster, previously painted surfaces, and all interior walls and ceilings, it provides consistent colour and finish across every application. The water-based formulation also ensures easy clean-up of brushes and rollers after use. - Surface Preparation – Before application, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust.
- Instructions for Use – Stir the paint thoroughly before use and apply using a good quality synthetic brush, roller, or spray gun. When applying by airless spray, dilute with up to 20% clean water. For porous surfaces, first apply a mist coat thinned by up to 40% with clean water; for powdery surfaces, use a suitable primer before applying two full coats. Allow up to 4 hours between coats, and if using more than one can of the same colour, mix them together to ensure uniformity. Do not apply in temperatures below 8°C or in damp conditions.
- Instructions for Storage – Store in a cool, dry place away from extremes of temperature and protect from frost. Always keep the tin upright, tightly closed, and securely stored at all times. Do not store below 5°C or above 40°C.
